/ ABOUT

I have never followed a single career path. I have built one.

My work has moved between software, entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, operations and leadership. At first glance, those may seem like separate disciplines. In practice, they have always been connected by the same question:

How do you turn an idea into something that works?

01

Building software

I started my career as a programmer, working for several software companies. That experience taught me how systems are structured, how problems are broken down and how ideas are translated into working technology.

02

Learning operations

I later worked as an assistant manager at several large motorway service stations in the Netherlands. It was a practical education in operations, customer behaviour, responsibility and keeping complex environments running.

03

Helping businesses grow

I founded a business focused on online marketing and sales support, helping other companies improve their visibility, customer acquisition and commercial performance.

04

Building products and brands

I also co-founded a furniture company where nearly everything was handled in-house — from product development and photography to marketing, sales and brand creation.

05

Leading people

Today, I work as a team manager in a large customer contact environment. My work focuses on leadership, coaching, learning, quality and helping people perform in a changing organisation.

06

Building with AI

AI has brought all of those experiences together. It allows me to work across technology, product development, creative direction, automation and business strategy — often within the same project.

I do not see AI as a replacement for experience. I see it as a force multiplier for it.

/ OUTSIDE THE WORK
